To support the Store manager with executing the store strategy, leading and developing a team of Customer Advisors to drive sales and high standards of customer service using the prescribed customer sales model. You will be a member of the team with excellent skills in operational governance. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to create a high performing team, coaching and empowering others to fulfill operational requirements and achieve their performance targets.

Our Whyalla store is hiring an Assistant Store Manager on a Full Time basis. This is an opportunity to enhance your leadership skills, overseeing a retail team with a unique buzz and energy at Telstra within a dynamic team environment.

As an Assistant Retail Store Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to coach and grow your team, helping them reach and exceed store targets.
What you'll do
- Oversee induction of new team members
- Coach the team to meet and exceed store targets
- Support with customer query escalations
- Act as the Store Manager's right-hand person
- Execute business initiatives to meet financial and customer metrics
- Motivate the team and foster a positive store culture
- Organize store floor and work schedules
About you
- Previous retail leadership or assistant management experience
- Ability to energize and drive a team to exceed sales targets
- Leadership skills to influence and build rapport with a diverse team
- Customer issue resolution skills
- Excellent communication skills
