About The Role
Are you a skilled technician who enjoys working with high-quality equipment? We are looking for an experienced Equipment Service Technician to join our close-knit team at our Deception Bay workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of premium gear, from truck-mounted line markers to hydraulic pumping systems and airless paint sprayers. No two days are the same, and you won't be stuck doing repetitive repairs.
This role is primarily workshop-based (80%) with occasional local site visits to keep things interesting. You'll be part of a supportive team at a stable, growing business that genuinely invests in its people.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Diagnose, repair, and service a range of fluid pumps, small motors, paint sprayers, hydraulic systems, and pressure cleaning equipment.
* Service and maintain various fluid handling systems.
* Carry out the fit-out and assembly of new equipment builds.
* Troubleshoot 12v electrical and mechanical faults with confidence.
* Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
* Conduct occasional local site visits for service and repair jobs.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records.
The Equipment You'll Work On
You'll have the chance to work with a wide array of industrial gear. We provide full training on specifics
* Airless paint sprayers (petrol, electric, pneumatic)
* Line marking equipment (push, self-propelled, truck-mounted)
* Hydraulic motors and pumping systems
* Pressure cleaners (diesel, petrol, electric)
* Lubrication systems and meters
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Solid hands-on experience with pumps, motors, and fluid systems.
* Proven troubleshooting skills - you can diagnose an issue and find a solution.
* The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Comfortable working independently once you are familiar with our processes.
* Physically capable of lifting and handling heavy equipment as required.
* Clear communication skills for collaborating with the team and assisting customers.
Nice to Have (but not essential):
* Previous experience with Graco, Jetwave, or Titan / Wagner products.
* Basic knowledge of 12v electronics.
* Experience with diesel and petrol engines.
* A trade qualification in mechanics or a related field
