Team Leader - Family Mental Health Support Services (Bundaberg)

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, young people, and their families? We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader to guide a small, dynamic, Family Mental Health team delivering high‐quality early intervention services within our community. This position is full-time maternity leave cover till 31st January 2027.

About the role

As the Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving positive outcomes for children, young people, and their families. You will:

* Lead and mentor a small team to deliver early intervention supports, including one‐on‐one assistance, parental coaching, advocacy, and referral pathways.
* Design and implement evidence‐based programs that promote improved wellbeing and resilience in children and young people.
* Monitor and achieve contractual Key Performance Indicators, ensuring the delivery of high‐quality, outcome‐focused services.
* Maintain program compliance, including oversight of reporting, accurate and timely case notes, and records management.
* Build and strengthen community networks and partnerships, enhancing referral pathways and service collaborations.

About you

You will thrive in this role if you are an empathetic leader with a passion for empowering young people. You will bring:

* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (or you are actively working toward them).
* Demonstrated experience in leading teams, with a supportive and collaborative leadership style.
* Proven experience working with young people experiencing mental health challenges.
* Strong knowledge of child protection frameworks, including mandatory reporting obligations.
