About You and the Role

This role can be worked part-time or full-time.
We can't wait for you to join our team as a Senior Electrical Engineer (Power Systems) and bring your fresh perspective to the team.
The role involves reviewing work of more junior team members, providing technical support, maintaining relationships with existing clients and being the interface between Entura and the respective client; acting as the Technical Lead for connection application studies, Generator Performance Standards (GPS) compliance assessments, model overlays and model validation in PSSE and PSCAD, and project management of smaller projects.
Responsibilities
* Review work of junior team members and provide technical support
* Maintain relationships with existing clients and act as the Entura interface for the client
* Act as Technical Lead for connection application studies, GPS compliance assessments, and model validation in PSSE/PSCAD
* Manage smaller projects
Qualifications
* 7+ years' experience
* Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
* Practical experience of 7+ years, predominantly in grid connections, GPS compliance assessments, power system studies
* Testing experience on site or virtually (e.g., via Teams screenshare) desirable but not essential
* Ideally CPEng, RPEQ, RPEV credentials
* Able to diagnose and troubleshoot independently (both in software PSSE, PSCAD, Python, etc., and underlying real-world physics)
* Modelling software experience:
o PSSE
o PSCAD essential
o PowerFactory
o SINCAL highly desired
o Python and Matlab highly desired
