Job Description As General Manager, Sales & Events, you will lead the group's event sales strategy, with a strong focus on business development, relationship management, and market positioning.
Overseeing a small, capable team, you will take ownership of both sales execution and leadership, working closely with the executive team to shape the future direction of the business.
Develop and lead an end-to-end sales strategy across all venues and accommodation offerings Identify and secure new MICE, corporate, and high-value event opportunities Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, agencies, and key industry partners Manage, mentor, and grow a small, high-performing sales and events team Collaborate with marketing and operations to drive cohesive commercial outcomes Represent the group at industry events and in key commercial conversations Candidate Profile You are a results-driven sales leader with a strong background in corporate hospitality, MICE, or premium events.
You excel in relationship-building, are commercially astute, and enjoy being part of a close-knit team where your contribution has a visible impact.
Minimum 5 years' experience in sales leadership within hospitality or events Proven success in driving revenue and building client networks in the corporate space Strong knowledge of MICE, conferencing, and bespoke event execution Excellent communication and negotiation skills Experience managing teams and working within senior leadership frameworks Strategic mindset with hands-on ability to close business and deliver growth Offer A competitive remuneration package is on offer, along with the opportunity to be a key member of the executive leadership team within a growing and respected boutique group.
