Role Description
This is a full‐time on‐site Associate role located in Brisbane, QLD. The Associate will handle matters related to commercial litigation, insolvency, and commercial law. Key responsibilities will include drafting legal documents, managing case files, conducting rigorous research, advising clients on business and legal matters, negotiating and documenting corporate transactions, and representing clients in legal proceedings. The role demands a proactive approach to solving clients' business challenges while maintaining high professional standards.
Qualifications
* Strong expertise in Commercial Litigation, Insolvency, and Commercial Law
* Proficiency in drafting legal documents, research, and providing sound legal advice
* Skills in negotiation, managing contracts, and client representation
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‐solving abilities
* Ability to work effectively in a team‐oriented, collaborative environment
* Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high‐quality legal counsel
* Admitted as a Lawyer in Queensland (or equivalent legal accreditation)
* Familiarity with the legal landscape and industry trends within Queensland
* Experience in working with liquidators, trustees, and creditors is advantageous
