Job Title: Senior Database Developer

Duration: 6 Months with Possible Extension
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, resource contentions, connectivity issues, security issues, etc.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching, how statistics work, how indexes are stored, how they can be created and managed effectively.
Additionally, the candidate should have experience in writing and troubleshooting SQL code and design (stored procs, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints) and developing/automating database maintenance scripts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, Profiler, SSMS, DMVs, system procedures and other troubleshooting tools to analyze and tune databases and SQL queries for optimal efficiency.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems with an emphasis on maintaining large data volumes (> 4 TB) on multi-disk arrays.
* Knowledge of Microsoft reporting services and developing custom reports SSRS.
* Designing and developing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages and SSAS systems and Active Directory operation.
* Understanding ITIL and deployment/release processes.
* Microsoft SQL certification required.
