About the role
This dual position delivers high-quality, comprehensive, and culturally safe healthcare services to young people housed at the Alice Springs Youth Detention Centre (ASYDC) while they await transfer to Darwin or court appearances. The role requires a minimum of three hours per day at ASYDC and availability for on-call support during business hours, and after-hours for urgent matters.
When not required at ASYDC, the position provides culturally safe, high-standard direct patient care within the Urgent Care Clinic (UCC), contributing to the delivery of responsive and effective health services across both settings.
