We are seeking an IT Assistant supports the organization's technology infrastructure by providing technical assistance, maintaining systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. They work closely with IT staff and end-users to troubleshoot issues, manage hardware/software, and contribute to system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support to staff and resolve IT-related issues.
Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and peripherals.
Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and printers.
Support data backup, recovery, and security protocols.
Document IT processes, incidents, and resolutions for future reference.
Assist in upgrading systems and implementing new technologies.
Coordinate with vendors for equipment repairs and software updates.
Train staff on basic IT practices and safe technology usage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Basic knowledge of computer systems, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and networking.
Familiarity with office productivity software (MS Office, email systems).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under minimal supervision.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA IT Fundamentals, Microsoft Office Specialist) are an advantage.

Experience

Previous experience in IT support or administrative IT roles preferred.
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting hardware/software issues is beneficial.
