Role Description
This is a temporary remote role for a Personal Support Worker. It is based in Adelaide Metropolitan area. The primary responsibilities include providing assistance with daily living needs, facilitating community participation, ensuring client safety and dignity during outings, and offering companion-based support. The role also involves adherence to safeguarding protocols and effective communication with clients, families, and team members to provide personalised care.
Qualifications
* Strong foundational skills in Support Work and knowledge of safeguarding principles
* Two years working experience in this area.
* Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills for building rapport and understanding client needs
* Proficiency in offering Technical Support for mobility aids and accessibility equipment
* Experience in working with individuals with diverse abilities and a commitment to promoting inclusion
* Relevant certification, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support, is highly preferred
* Ability to work independently in a remote and flexible environment
* Knowledge of NDIS support services is an advantage
