We're dedicated to acknowledging our history while sustainably feeding the future, and we'd love you to join us.This role will be responsible for operating and caring for company aircraft and ensuring safety and efficiency are maintained for every trip, using the AACo Air Maestro aviation scheduling and reporting system.
The Station Pilot will work with operational leadership to monitor and manage the company aircraft and aviation facilities in conjunction with the Senior Pilot and Station Manager.
When you're not flying or completing flight administrative tasks, you will assist with general station hand duties.ResponsibilitiesEnsure the secure and efficient conduct of all flight operations while acting as pilot in command and handle any reasonably anticipated emergencies.Ensure loading of the aircraft is within prescribed limits for each flight.Organise fuel and oil requirements for each flight and ensure company fuel requirements are met.Review expiry dates of licenses and ratings.Ensure aircraft and administrative documents and Air Maestro entries are completed.Conduct Passenger, Cattle Spotting, bore running, Fence running, Baiting, Mustering and other flights.Ensure all passengers are afforded courtesy and assistance.Manage maintenance requirements of the assigned aircraft.When no flying is required and flight administrative tasks are complete, assist with general station hand duties.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum of 250 hours of flight time.Current CASA issued Commercial Pilot License.Current CASA Class 1 Medical.Current Red Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
Low Level Rating (desirable).
Station experience (desirable).
