Operating from offices in seven regions, including metropolitan, rural, and remote areas, the teams support individuals in fulfilling community-based orders and making positive life changes.As a Probation Services Officer, you'll play a vital role in encouraging pro-social behaviours, promoting rehabilitation, and contributing to safer communities across Queensland.**To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:*** The ability to manage tasks effectively, meet deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team* Proven experience in engaging with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to support service delivery* A strong awareness of sensitive issues and a commitment to maintaining privacy and complying with relevant legislation* Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to conduct difficult conversations, resolve issues, and negotiate positive outcomes Click here to take our brief quiz and determine if a career in community corrections is right for you!**Additional Information:*** While formal qualifications are not mandatory, tertiary qualifications in human services disciplines are highly regarded* Successful applicants appointed on will be required to complete the Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Community).
