**EL2 Executive Officer**

The EL2 Executive Officer is responsible for providing project management, support services and strategic
advice to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and their group. This includes coordination and analysis of
correspondence, reports, risk and program documentation and briefings, and providing support on strategic projects and executive led procurement or recruitment.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Manage responses to ministerial/CEO queries and to review presentations
- Have oversight of action plan within department branches
- Have the ability to review, edit and update guidance material
- Have excellent writing skills and experience in quality assurance
- Drive continuous improvement in the Branch
- Management of escalations, complaints and deadlines
**Skills and Experience**:
- Demonstrated experience working as an executive officer or supporting a senior executive team
- Capacity to work in a busy environment with demonstrated skills in time management, working with competing priorities and ability to prioritise and manage tight deadlines
- Previous experience working within government departments or industries including Health, Disability, Community, NGO's is desired
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
