Job Description
This position is responsible for the development and standard of cataloguing services across the Learning Resource Services Network (LRSN), providing guidance on the use and operation of local and national bibliographic databases.
Provide technical advice and support to the LRSN Systems Librarian. Works in a collaborative and supporting team environment with the LRSN Systems Librarian. Maintains appropriate professional networks.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience in original cataloguing using tools such as AACR2 and RDA, DDC and LCSH, and electronic library management systems, coming from a libraries background within TAFE or similar organisations; with a focus on the stakeholder engagement and support, and the creation, implementation, and maintenance of cataloguing policies and procedures.

New employees will be required to obtain a criminal convictions screening clearance by providing a current National Police Certificate prior to their appointment.
