This is a full-time opportunity that operates on a 7 day rotating roster including both day & night shifts.
As a Facility Operations Manager (Security and Operations) in the Adelaide Remand Centre team, you'll make a positive impact by leading correctional officer teams to deliver high standards of security and operational outcomes.
You will work in a dynamic, complex environment overseeing teams across emergency response, control room, visits, and more.
Responsibilities
Leading and managing all security and operations staff to maintain high standards across dynamic, static, and procedural security areas.
Ensuring all centre security procedures are adhered to through audits and inspections.
Coordinating emergency responses and maintaining readiness in line with contract requirements.
Overseeing the management of control rooms, visits, screening, reception, and medical-related security operations.
Supporting team development, conducting annual reviews, and managing performance issues appropriately.

To be successful in this role you'll have:
Certificate III Correctional practice (CSC*****)
Experience in a senior line management role in prisons, detention centre or similar institutional environment
Sound knowledge of modern correctional practices
Sound knowledge of the Work Health & Safety
Sound knowledge f the criminal justice system and relevant legislative provisions
Demonstrate the highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour
