About The Role
Cater Care is seeking a Casual Catering Assistant to join our team at a key aged care residence in Wanneroo.
In this role, you'll help ensure our residents enjoy nutritious, well-presented meals and a warm, supportive dining experience every day.
Roster: Various days and hours
What This Role Involves
* Assisting with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
* Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
* Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
* Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
* Setting tables, plating meals, and supporting the chef with general kitchen duties
Desired Skills and Experience
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
* Work effectively as part of a team to meet resident needs and service expectations
* Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
* Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
