Community Placement Officer
This role involves providing tenancy advice and case management to residents in a remote Aboriginal community. You will live and work within the community, building strong relationships with residents, community members, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support and guidance to residents on tenancy matters
* Conduct home assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual needs
* Support clients with property maintenance reporting and rental deductions
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with community members and stakeholders
* Monitor and report on case progress against program KPIs
* Assist clients with daily tasks, including cleaning and gardening if needed
About You
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role
* Experience in case management is preferred, but not necessary
* Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and ability to work closely with Aboriginal communities
* Ability to manage multiple systems and maintain accurate records
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are crucial
* A current C or C-A class driver's licence is required
* Competence with Microsoft Office Suite and Apple products is expected
* Willingness to support clients in practical ways, including property cleaning, if needed
