The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) is seeking an experienced UX Designer to join our User Experience team.
In this role, you will design intuitive, user centred digital experiences that support ACER's mission to improve learning globally. You'll work across web, mobile and desktop applications, collaborating with product owners, designers and developers to bring impactful solutions to life.
What You'll Do
* Create wireframes, prototypes, user journeys and support high-fidelity UI design
* Conduct usability testing and translate insights into design improvements
* Apply evidence based UX practices and contribute to ACER's design system
* Work collaboratively with designers, developers and product teams
* Support accessibility and inclusive design across digital products
What You Bring
* 5+ years of UX design experience
* Strong skills using Figma or similar tools
* Ability to communicate design decisions clearly
* Experience conducting and applying insights from usability research
* Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles
* A relevant AQF Level 7 degree (or postgraduate equivalent), or equivalent industry experience
