Our team seeks a skilled Fixed Plant Fitter to join us in our mission to deliver exceptional services. This role is responsible for providing preventative and breakdown maintenance on our Dozer Mining Unit (DMU). Working closely with other members of our Site Maintenance team, this role will report to the Maintenance Supervisors.
This position requires 3+ years of experience in a similar role, an Australian Recognised Trade Certificate, and a commitment to the health, safety and well-being of all employees. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have experience in repairing and maintaining Fixed Plant Equipment (Mining Industry Specific) and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Key responsibilities include utilising organisational skills to ensure stock levels are adequate for tasks, completing scheduled repairs and maintenance of fixed plant equipment safely and efficiently, performing diagnostics and problem solving accurately and in a timely manner, and striving for continuous improvement by identifying and interpreting parts and accessories for reuse.
Other key aspects of this role include effectively working and communicating with team members and clients on site to prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines, being able to work self-sufficiency, part of a team, autonomously, and conduct works in a professional manner, and meeting deadlines while maintaining a strong approach to safety.
