The Role

The Senior Finance Business Partner (SFBP) plays a critical role within the Finance Team, providing insightful advice on financial performance in relation to Aruma's strategic objectives. The role supports the executive team, general managers, and their teams to ensure Aruma remains a sustainable, purpose‐driven organisation that uses its financial resources wisely to achieve its purpose, strategic direction, and operational and commercial goals.

Working closely with operational leaders and colleagues across the finance function, the SFBP delivers analysis, insights, and recommendations that inform decision‐making and strengthen financial performance. The position leads the ongoing improvement of Aruma's integrated insights, planning, and reporting processes and capabilities.

From a people leadership perspective, the role includes day‐to‐day coaching and development of one direct report, as well as contributing to broader leadership within the finance team.

What you need to be successful in this role...
* Degree‐level qualification, CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent), MBA desirable.
* Minimum five years' senior experience in financial planning and analysis or a related field.
* Proven experience in large, multi‐site, multi‐department organisations (turnover $150m+).
* Senior exposure to high‐volume, multi‐site, low‐margin operating environments.
* Advanced analytical and problem‐solving capability using diverse data sources.
* Strong business intelligence skills (Power BI or similar) and solid knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
* Advanced Excel skills, including handling large multi‐source datasets; VBA and SQL an advantage.
* Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement across financial processes, systems, and controls.
* Strong stakeholder presentation and communication skills.
* Ability to navigate complex organisations, build relationships, and influence without direct authority.
* Strong project and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver outcomes.
* Commercial mindset with the ability to identify viable opportunities and financial outcomes.
