Risk Management Coordinator Salary: HSO Level G7 $122,597 - $130,265 per annum pro rata. Location: Perth Children's Hospital, Nedlands. About the Role
The Child and Adolescent Health Service are seeking an experienced Risk Management Coordinator to join our Audit, Risk & Compliance team and lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of CAHS's risk management framework, supporting safe, high-quality care for children, young people and their families.
You will work closely with executive leaders, managers and teams, and provide expert advice on identifying, assessing, managing and monitoring clinical and non-clinical risks and support teams to integrate risk management into organisational planning, governance and continuous improvement processes.
This is an exciting opportunity to strengthen organisational risk maturity, embed best practice risk management, and foster a positive risk-aware culture across CAHS.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinating the development, implementation, maintenance and ongoing evaluation of CAHS's risk management framework, policies and strategies in line with legislative requirements, Australian Standards and industry best practice.
2. Maintaining and overseeing the CAHS integrated risk register, ensuring risks are appropriately identified, recorded, reported and managed.
3. Facilitating consistent use of risk management tools, definitions and methodologies across the organisation.
4. Monitoring, reviewing and reporting on risk management performance and emerging system-wide risks.
5. Building organisational capability and culture through the design and delivery of risk management education, workshops and awareness initiatives.
