An exciting opportunity exists for a Field Sales Manager to join the BIG Team building and driving a dedicated Red Bull team in Corporate Grocery (Coles & Woolworths) & other customers as required, this position will see you delivering high-quality results in line with the organisational objectives.
The Field Sales Manager is responsible for the execution of in-store plans within the state. They are responsible for fostering a high-performance Red Bull team that meets and exceeds targets in their geographic territory of Corporate Grocery Retailers. The Field Sales Manager is responsible for embedding "Power Selling" within their team of Corporate Grocery Strikers and Merchandisers as well as providing on the job training on Red Bull principles.
What you will do:
* Execution of Mission Plan
* Responsible for executing the plans outlined in the Mission plan across Coles, Woolworths & other customers as required
* Coaching
* Coach Corporate Grocery Strikers to embed the "Power Selling" principles, journey planning, problem solving, negotiation and in-store standards. Coach their teams to reduce out of stocks, increase compliance, and sell over & above opportunities within Corporate Grocery & other customers as required
* Field Sales Management
* Manage the team to achieve trimesterly targets set out through the Business Plan. Manage the team resources to achieve the most efficient and effective territory coverage for the state. Ensure effective journey planning to achieve correct call frequency. Execute systems, processes and tools to help Corporate Grocery Strikers achieve their set targets.
* Internal/external alignment and collaboration to successful roll out day 1 compliance through co-ordinating internal resource
* Relationships
* Hold relationships with the Regional Sales Managers and field team to effectively implement their plans set out through the Mission Planning Process and also provide feedback and suggestions on local initiatives.
* People Development & Management
* Hold reviews with the Corporate Grocery Strikers on performance while developing individual career development plans for team members. Initiating succession plans and programs for identified High Performers within the team. 3 x Check Ins (BiG Representative will need to be in attendance)
* Days in Trade x 4 Days
* Monday in State Red Bull HQ
* 3 Days Coaching Days in trade are with Red Bull Grocery Strikers. All days in trade will be a minimum half day accompaniment.
* 1 Audit/Tactical (Wednesday) - All days in trade will be a minimum half day accompaniment
What you will bring to the role:
* Proven field sales background with an excellent understanding of FMCG industry
* Demonstrate skills in leadership within a team
* Experience in people management
* Corporate Grocery knowledge – Coles Woolworths & other customers as required
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to read & develop reports and a great understanding of excel
* Ability to develop key stakeholder relationships (Internally & Externally)
