The Role
The Senior HR Business Partner is accountable for providing expert HR consultancy and advisory services to senior management. The position also provides quality advice on operational HR issues including recruitment, contract management, performance review and development, workforce planning and case management support.
You'll participate in developing and facilitating information and training to staff in human resources related matters and business improvement initiatives.
This role offers opportunities to influence workforce management by developing and implementing innovative approaches, leading exciting people projects, and shaping business delivery in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide client-focussed expert advice and consultancy to senior executives and managers on complex HR management to support business objectives.
* Manage, mentor, coach and guide team members and business groups on HR matters to facilitate informed decision making and resolution of complex people management issues.
* Develop, implement, promote and evaluate innovative HR projects, policies, procedures and systems to achieve departmental workforce management objectives.
About You
* You have significant experience in providing HR advisory and consultancy services across a range of matters.
* You have a significant level of discipline knowledge and competence related to human resource principles and practices.
* You possess high-level verbal and written communication skills, including consulting, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
* You can work under limited direction within a team environment, exercise initiative and judgement in setting priorities to achieve objectives.
* You can research and undertake sensitive and/or complex matters, analyse and summarise information, and develop and report on appropriate policies, strategies and solutions.
