Hedges Construction are seeking a Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to:
Responsibilities
* Work on a variety of construction projects.
* Read and interpret plans, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
* Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
* Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
* Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
* Willingness to learn and take direction from other experienced carpenters.
* Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
* Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
* Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
* Valuable physical condition and endurance.
* Current Drivers Licence
