We are currently partnering with a well-established organisation who are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join their team on a 7-month contract.
This is a varied and hands-on role where you will be involved across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and industry-specific finance functions.
Please note whilst this role is initially for 7 months, it does have the potential to go perm, so you must have full, unrestricted work rights in Australia.
The Role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:
- Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, compliance checks, weekly domestic and international payments, and monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
- Oversee the Accounts Receivable cycle by processing invoices and credit notes, performing daily bank reconciliations, receipting, adjustments, and related queries.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly superannuation files for submission via clearing house.
- Review and approve workflow items.
- Investigate and follow up overdue accounts and unapplied credits, ensuring all records are maintained.
- Provide assistance to fellow Finance Officers, including bank reconciliation transactions when required.
Your Profile:

- Proven experience across Accounts Payable and Receivable.
- Strong reconciliation skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and team-oriented approach.
