Our government client is seeking an experienced and driven leader to take on an urgent role in managing library services across multiple locations. This role requires a hands-on leadership approach, blending strategic vision with operational expertise to deliver innovative, high-quality, and community-centred services.
Key Requirements
- Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on both strategy and day-to-day operations.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, including experience in report writing, developing policies and procedures, delivering training, and engaging with the public.
- Advanced research and analytical thinking, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
- Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships with external organisations and community stakeholders.
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage change effectively.
Qualification
- A tertiary qualification in library and information science, arts, community development, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
