Royal Prince Alfred is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and offers speciality services from its main campus as well as from the Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, Chris O'Brien Lifehouse and Dame Edith Walker Hospitals.
RPAH is one of Australia's leading hospitals, providing an extensive range of diagnostic and treatment services.
Its specialities include cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, liver and kidney transplants.
The primary purpose of the role is to provide quality patient care whilst performing a range of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Nuclear Medicine (NM) procedures as well as PET-CT imaging.
This involves the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, patient imaging, collection and analysis of data, quality control on equipment, and recording data in the Departmental Database.
Ideal Candidate
Holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) Nuclear Medicine.
Licensed with the EPA or eligible/and is registered with AHPRA for national accreditation.
Can demonstrate a sound knowledge of radiation safety and quality control/improvement.
