What You'll Be Doing
Provide efficient, effective and compassionate nursing care to infants, children and families in a busy emergency setting while working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
* Deliver evidence based paediatric emergency nursing care
* Recognise deterioration and expedite escalation of concerns promptly
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with policy
* Support education of staff, students and families
* Participate in quality improvement and ongoing professional development

Essential Criteria
* Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria
* Demonstrated ability to create positive relationships with patients, carers and loved ones to achieve patient empowerment, information sharing and confidence in nursing staff.
* Demonstrated extensive and recent emergency nursing skills and experience
* Proven ability to work independently with initiative, as well as collaboratively and respectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Proven commitment to continuing professional development.
* Demonstrate critical thinking abilities, prioritisation and communication skills, whilst effectively following directions.
