Job Summary
The role of the Data Protection Incident Responder involves overseeing and executing incident response procedures to facilitate remediation activities, communication strategies, and crisis management integration as needed.
This entails effectively communicating incident response concepts and protocols to non-technical stakeholders, managing USDS Incident Response projects, participating in incident response exercises, and escalating incidents to crisis management when required.
* Demonstrate expertise in identifying and responding to threats and threat actors with excellent communication and collaboration skills, along with the ability to influence without authority.
* Exhibit teamwork and collaboration skills in leading or contributing to global and multi-functional teams, prioritizing tasks, problem-solving, effort allocation, and interpersonal relationships.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience in CyberSecurity, emergency management, or crisis management with a focus on security analytics and incident response.
Desirable skills include experience in identifying and responding to threats, coordinating complex incident situations, and project management expertise.
