Permanent Part-Time Support Worker – Make a Real Difference Every Day

You'll work with a diverse range of clients—both male and female, many of whom are elderly or have specific care needs—and they value a calm, confident, and caring presence. Position Details:
* Role: Permanent part-time Support Worker
* Availability: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 7am–5pm
* Locations: Maitland, Cessnock, Kurri Kurri, Dungog, and surrounding areas
* Travel: Required between client homes
What You'll Do:
* Provide personal care and medication support tailored to each client's needs
* Deliver behaviour support in line with clear, individual care plans
* Assist with domestic tasks (cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, dusting) to keep clients' homes safe and tidy
* Support community access, including grocery shopping, appointments, and social outings
* Provide respite support for families and carers
* Complete simple documentation via our easy-to-use mobile app
What You'll Bring:
* Certificate III in Individual Support / Aged Care (or equivalent)
* Current driver's licence and a reliable car with comprehensive insurance
* First Aid/CPR certification and Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* NDIS Worker Check or National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Comfortable using smartphones and tablets for care documentation
* Flexible, calm, dependable, and excellent interpersonal skills
* A commitment to providing respectful care to both male and female clients, understanding that personal care may include gender-specific tasks
What You'll Get:
* $34.59/hr PPT rate (+12% super)
* Permanent part-time shifts with consistent days (Tues, Wed, Fri)
