We're currently seeking a Cold Store Manager to join their team in this exciting role. The Cold Store Manager is responsible for effectively manage the production and business operations to ensure quality of product, protected and efficient processes and fulfillment of customer orders which includes:
- Daily management of the overall operations and requirements of the warehouse
- Leadership of the warehouse team
- Maintaining knowledge and compliance with customer and country requirements
- Developing, implementing and monitoring controls and systems to ensure compliance with relevant requirements

**The role**:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the load out
- Ensure the warehouse team is operating effectively and efficiently to maximise outputs
- Monitor daily reporting and record keeping to ensure accuracy
- Lead and mentor warehouse team members to excel within their role
- Liaise with production and logistics teams to manage customer orders and loads
- Minimise financial loss resulting from incorrect load out, customer claims or load errors
- Minimise product loss resulting from damage during the warehousing process
- Monitor the safety of operations within the warehouse department and ensure compliance with Policies, Procedures and legislation
- Report and investigate incidents as required
- Ensure High Risk Work activities including forklift operation are managed in a safe manner
- Ensure access controls to high risk areas are maintained and adhered to at all times
**What we're looking for**:
- Experience in and understanding of warehousing/cold storage, stock control and picking and loading of orders.
- Forklift license
- Qualifications in logistics and supply chain preferred
- Strong planning, organisational, leadership and time management abilities
- Work well under pressure and adaptable in exceptional circumstances and situations.
- Ability delegate and organise team on a daily basis as well as during challenging and extraordinary situations.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure to very strict deadlines
- Ability work with and communicate directly with Management and take on challenges as they present themselves with a positive and can-do attitude.
- Ability to be on call and attend to emergencies as required
- You must have high attention to detail and be self-motivated
- Experience with Trade Management systems preferably BSM or similar, preferable.
- Experience with Inventory Control systems, preferably stock scan/triton, preferable.
- Experience with SQL report-based systems, preferable.
