**Your new company**
This is a state-based industry scheme that administers long service leave entitlements for the South Australian construction industry. Working with both employers and employees, this statutory body performs activities governed by the Construction Industry Long Service Leave Act 1987 (the Act).
**Your new role**
Reporting to the Finance and Operations Manager, you will interact with employers and employees of the construction industry to resolve enquiries, process registrations, conduct investigations and audits, and progress matters for legal actioning as required. This will involve providing advice, reviewing, and determining non-compliance with the Act, and progressing investigations into outstanding employer returns.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- The ability to undertake transactional activities with excellent record keeping practices
- The ability to perform retrospective calculations to determine a worker's entitlement for service days earned
- A resilient and persistent attitude to proactively follow up with stakeholders on a regular basis
- An understanding of how to progress matters through to legal proceedings if a company is non-compliant with its obligations under the Act
- Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills (Excel) and experience in using a CRM platform or similar systems to investigate the information available
**Previous Experience or background**
To be successful in this role, you may have experience in either:
- A collection's role in a Bank
- A payroll role in the government or a large corporate, or
- An accounts receivable role in a medium to large organization
