Role Description
This part-time Kitchen Assistant role is based on-site on Bunda Street in Canberra, ACT, and is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in hospitality.
You'll support the kitchen team with food preparation, cleanliness, hygiene, and assisting during service. This role also offers a clear progression pathway into a Kitchen Supervisor (Kitchen Captain) position, supported by a tailored training and development plan designed to build both technical and leadership skills.
Additional responsibilities may include coordinating food and drink orders and contributing to a positive, efficient guest experience.

Qualifications
* Experience with food preparation, cooking, or general Food & Beverage operations
* Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
* Ability to work well in a team and deliver great customer experiences
* Strong multitasking skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
* Previous experience in hospitality or food service is an advantage, but not essential
