Commercial Manager

ISS is expanding, and we're seeking expressions of interest from experienced professionals for the role of Commercial Manager, based in our Adelaide office.
This pivotal role supports transition and operational activities across a key contract, working closely with Key Account Leads to identify efficiencies, drive commercial value, and foster strong stakeholder relationships.
What You'll Be Doing
* Own and understand the client's market, demonstrating deep sector knowledge.
* Lead decision‑making criteria for contracts in consultation with the Segment Director.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, adding value throughout the contract lifecycle.
* Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional integrity.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support negotiation processes alongside operational leads.
* Collaborate with internal, external, and client stakeholders to deliver "best in class" solutions focused on labour, process, and technology innovation.
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 10 years of progressive commercial experience.
* Proven leadership and commercial acumen.
* Experience in complex technical sales.
* Tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in Facility Management and/or Business.
* Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
* Expertise in commercial models and risk management.
* Exceptional problem‑solving and attention to detail.
* Results‑driven with a collaborative mindset.
* Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
* Cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
* Extensive experience in commercial business environments.
* Advanced research and analytical capabilities.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Degree‑level qualifications in Accounting or a related field.
