About The Role
Based at Vantage Maleny this role is responsible for ensuring the facilities at our lifestyle community meet the Vantage standards and expectations of our community. This is a live in position in dedicated Community Caretaker accommodation onsite.
In This Role You Will Be Responsible For
Managing or completing of day-to-day community maintenance works to ensure community presentation and operations are maintained in line with Vantage standards and budget and legal compliance requirements. This includes gardening, landscaping, basic repairs, pool testing and servicing, communal facilities cleaning
Identifying and escalating critical maintenance / repair issues
Maintaining assets, plan. machinery and equipment in line with relevant maintenance schedules
Management of external contractor / service providers within budget
Skills and experience
Previous experience in Facilities Management, Maintenance / Community Caretaker roles preferably in LLC, Retirement Living, Holiday Parks, Property Management or related industries.
Ability to complete physically demanding tasks and work outdoors
Knowledge of garden and pool maintenance
Understanding of WHS&E requirements as relevant to management and maintenance of residential communities
Knowledge and understanding of technical systems that contract and support communities such as fire and security systems.
In addition, you will have:
Current valid 'class c' drivers licence
Previous trade experience or qualification (highly regarded)
WHS&E Certificate or qualification (highly regarded)
