What You'll Be Doing:
As a Senior Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in managing formal insolvency appointments and advisory engagements. Your responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating and managing personal and corporate insolvency matters
* Providing specialist advice to clients and internal teams
* Leading and briefing staff, allocating tasks, and overseeing performance
* Applying deep knowledge of case law and statutory requirements
* Monitoring and meeting statutory deadlines
* Overseeing asset realisation processes
* Conducting interviews with directors and bankrupt individuals
* Liaising with financiers, legal professionals, agents, and auctioneers
* Sharing insights on market trends and best practices
* Reviewing and mentoring junior team members
* Designing and analysing financial models and investigative reports
Resolving complex accounting and financial issues
What You'll Bring:
We're looking for a confident leader with a strong technical foundation and a passion for delivering results. You'll need:
Essential:
* A degree in Business/Commerce with an Accounting major
* A completed Law degree with an interest in insolvency
* 8+ years in professional services, with 4-5 years in a leadership role
* Strong ethical standards and business development experience
* Excellent time management, communication, and analytical skills
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
* Experience dealing with banks, lawyers, and other professionals
* Completion of the Insolvency Education Program (ARITA)
* Experience preparing budgets and cashflows
