About the Position
You will be responsible for providing direct support to individuals across a range of needs, including domestic and personal care assistance, as well as helping them connect with their community.
We have flexible start dates available for multiple positions. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of compassion, empathy, and understanding.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide 24/7 care and support in our SIL/Group Homes, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our customers.
* Assist with daily tasks, such as domestic and personal care, as well as accessing community services.
* Develop positive relationships with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
Requirements
* A willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends, and public/school holidays with significant availability.
* Resilience, confidence, and ability to work independently and as a team.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to develop positive relationships.
* Able to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement.
* Able to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs.
* A current Driver's Licence.
