Position Summary:
Claytons (AUST) is a national leader in the manufacturing of high-quality kitchen and lifestyle joinery products. We are currently seeking an experienced Site Installation Supervisor to oversee residential projects in South Australia.
This role is responsible for managing daily site activities, ensuring subcontractor performance meets expectations, achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), and delivering outstanding customer service. The position reports directly to the South Australia Branch Manager.
Vision for the Role:
The vision for the Site Installation Supervisor is to create seamless site operations by ensuring clear communication, optimal resource allocation, and the successful completion of all projects on time. Through proactive coordination and improved scheduling processes, the Site Supervisor will contribute directly to achieving the company's 95% DIFOT target, while ensuring safety and compliance standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise subcontractors and on-site staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality installations.
* Provide clear guidance and manage performance expectations of on-site installers.
* Conduct regular site meetings with builders, project managers, and site managers.
* Liaise with customers to resolve issues effectively and professionally.
* Perform site measurements and ensure strict adherence to QA installation procedures.
* Communicate and coordinate with internal teams to address and resolve any site-related concerns.
* Implement preventative measures to minimize maintenance issues.
* Manage defect rectifications, including coordinating delivery and installation of necessary materials.
* Monitor KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes.
* Ensure all subcontractor installers comply with OH&S policies and procedures.
Key Requirements:
* Extensive experience in cabinet making and/or joinery installations.
* Proven supervisory experience with a strong ability to lead and manage subcontractors.
* Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
* Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
* Experience engaging with builders, project managers, and site managers.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Apple devices.
* Ability to resolve conflicts professionally and efficiently.
* Thorough understanding and implementation of OH&S practices to maintain a safe work environment.
