The Role We are currently seeking a transport hotshots coordinator to join our client in Singleton to assist customers with coordinating urgent same day freight deliveries or pick-ups. This is maternity leave coverage. This position requires someone who is able to think on their feet, provide a high level of customer service and work autonomously. This operation runs 24/7 and we require staff for weekend shifts, leave coverage during the week (as required) Key Responsibilities Responding to emails and phone calls to organise freight pick up and deliveries Use of internal systems, Microsoft Teams and excel spreadsheets Creating consignments for carriers General admin and data entry Liaising with stake holders and drivers Running audits to support admin team Assisting with reconciliation of the hotshots register Assisting with Heavy Haulage requests as required Skills & Experience Knowledge of basic vehicle capacity (utes, vans, trucks) Good communication both written and verbal with good follow up to all requests Advances knowledge of internal systems, MS Teams and 365 suites Excellent customer service skills Qualities in problem solving through diverse circumstances Benefits Supportive team with full training provided Variety to your day About Toll People Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
