We are seeking experienced building construction & maintenance Supervisors to join dynamic teams working with leading organisations across the Townsville region. Numerous short-term contract and permanent opportunities exist with residential new home builders, commercial builders, state government departments and major maintenance providers.
Your new role
As a Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards. Positions may involve site inspections, team coordination, and resource management. Some roles require occasional travel to regional areas; others are based locally in Townsville.
Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
* Site Leadership: Oversee daily operations, coordinate trades teams and subcontractors, and maintain a productive, safe work environment.
* Project Delivery: Monitor progress against timelines and budgets, resolve on-site challenges, and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
* Resource Management: Allocate labour, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet project objectives.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections, review plans, and uphold standards across all phases of construction and maintenance.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to maintain strong relationships and deliver exceptional outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed
You're a qualified tradesperson with proven supervisory experience and a solid understanding of the building and construction industry. You're detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and confident managing teams and schedules.
* Trade Qualification (Ideally Carpentry or Licenced Builder) with proven supervisory experience
* Construction White Card and current driver's licence
* Strong knowledge of building codes and standards
* Ability to lead teams and deliver results
