Mahinita Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Indian Cuisine Cook/Chef to join our team at Multiaward Winning Overlander Indian Restaurant in Orange, NSW. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of authentic Indian dishes for our customers in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
Preparing and cooking a diverse range of traditional Indian cuisine with experience in curries & Tandoori dishes.
Ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
Collaborating with the kitchen team to optimise workflow and efficiency
Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment
Adhering to all food safety and health regulations
Providing exceptional customer service and responding to special dietary requirements
Assist in Menu development & implementation
Ability to supervise, inspire & motivate other team members
What we're looking for
Experience as an Indian Cuisine Cook
Formal culinary training or qualification
Strong knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
Passion for Indian cuisine and a desire to provide an exceptional dining experience
