Procurement Officer (AO4)

An opportunity is available for an experienced Procurement Officer (AO4) to join a collaborative team supporting procurement activities within a large government infrastructure environment on the Sunshine Coast. This role will assist in delivering procurement processes that support the delivery of significant infrastructure and transport projects. You will provide procurement support, advice and coordination across a range of procurement activities while working closely with internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with procurement activities including planning, documentation review, evaluations and supplier arrangements
* Interpret and apply procurement policies and procedures in line with government frameworks
* Provide procurement guidance and support to internal stakeholders
* Support complex procurement projects through administrative coordination
* Maintain procurement registers, spreadsheets and reporting documentation
* Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers regarding procurement processes and requirements
* Contribute to improvements in procurement practices and activities
* Assist with asset administration including sourcing, stocktakes and disposal processes
* Provide occasional support with contract management activities
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Experience in procurement, contract administration or procurement support
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Experience working within procurement policies or governance frameworks
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* High attention to detail and strong documentation capability
* Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and SharePoint
