Job Title
Deliver quality, safe and effective responses to vulnerable children, young people and families experiencing family violence. Provide intake support via phone, within the Orange Door site and through outreach visits.
Manage a caseload, delivering screening and triage, assessment, crisis responses, service planning, targeted interventions, allocation and coordinated referrals. Work collaboratively to support integrated risk assessment and planning.
Refer clients to services within the broader system and provide them with information and support.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent as per the mandatory minimum qualification requirements for specialist family violence practitioners.
* Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent
* Experience in child, youth and families welfare
* Well-developed risk assessment and management skills
* Sound understanding of the MARAM Framework, Best Interests Principles and the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005
