As a telecommunications professional, you will play a vital role in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting radio telecommunication systems. This full-time position will see you work closely with client and engineering teams to ensure reliable and efficient communication services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication equipment including repeaters, mobiles, handheld radios, microwave and PVT LTE infrastructure.
* Fault-finding, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of communications networks.
* Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance on telecommunication systems.
* Programming digital radios and repeaters.
* Documenting work performed and maintaining detailed records of all telecommunication assets.
* Providing technical support and training to end-users as required.
* Collaborating with the IT and engineering teams to implement new telecommunication technologies and solutions.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated expertise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of RF, MW, LTE and digital radio telecommunications equipment.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills to liaise with clients and colleagues.
* Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety procedures.
* A valid driver's licence and ability to travel to client sites as required.
* Ability to pass drug and alcohol screens.
