Position Overview
The Community Registered Nurse conducts comprehensive nursing assessments primarily via telephone and develops tailored care plans.
While most assessments and client interactions are performed remotely, occasional in-person home visits may be required when clinically necessary.
The nurse provides leadership and support to care staff, ensuring client care aligns with the organisation's philosophy and enhances the quality of life for individuals living in the community.
This is a permanent full-time position, Mondays to Fridays, based at our Upper Mount Gravatt office.
Candidate Profile
Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 months clinical experience.
Strong clinical nursing skills, including wound care, medication management, diabetes, and cognitive assessments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while managing a diverse caseload.
Demonstrated understanding of aged care rights and compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
Current Queensland Open Driver's License and a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
