Associate - Vice President - Real Estate Investment Banking Tier 1 Global Investment Bank | Sydney

Our client is a leading global investment bank with a dominant presence in Australian real estate advisory and capital markets. The firm is consistently ranked at the top of league tables and is known for advising on some of the most complex, high‑profile real estate transactions in the market. Due to continued deal flow, they are ideally seeking a 3rd year Associate (+/-1) to join their Real Estate Investment Banking team in Sydney.


The Role

You will work closely with senior bankers on a broad range of transactions, including:

* M&A and strategic advisory across listed and unlisted real estate platforms
* Equity and debt capital raisings
* REIT transactions and corporate restructures
* Asset and platform‑level acquisitions and disposals

The role offers strong execution responsibility, direct client exposure and the opportunity to work across multiple asset classes.


About You

We are open to a range of high‑quality backgrounds, including:

* Investment Banking (Real Estate or Generalist)
* REIT Corporate Finance or Strategy teams
* Big 4 M&A / Corporate Finance / Deals Advisory
* Other highly analytical transaction‑focused roles with strong financial modelling exposure

You will ideally have:

* ~4-6 years' experience (Associate - VP level)
* Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
* Excellent PowerPoint and written communication capability
* A genuine interest in real estate markets and capital structures
* A collaborative, driven and commercially minded approach
