We are seeking an experienced and motivated Motel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our 4-star motel in Armidale, NSW. The role involves managing front desk, reservations, and housekeeping services; supervising and rostering staff; maintaining high guest satisfaction; monitoring budgets; liaising with suppliers; and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key duties include:
overseeing all aspects of the motel's operations, serving as the primary point of contact for guests, staff, and suppliers.
Ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes.
Managing reservations and guest relations.
Supervising and training staff.
Handling budgets, expenses, and supplier relationships.
Maintaining property presentation and compliance.
Handling opening and closing duties, ensuring daily operational readiness and secure nightly shutdowns.
Ensure and provide guests with up-to-date local tourism information, and coordinate tour bookings and transportation arrangements.
Requirements:
At least 2 years experience in front office operations, night auditing, or a similar role within motel or hotel management.
Strong leadership and customer service skills.
Knowledge of front office, housekeeping, and reservations systems.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly, service-oriented attitude are essential in this role.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/public holidays.
