Established in 1964, Ellis Air Conditioning has a long history of successfully completing mechanical services projects and preventative maintenance programs for many clients.
We have successfully completed a wide range of projects in numerous market sections including healthcare, laboratories, commercial, leisure, education, industrial and residential. Our in-house design team can assist with tailor-made solutions to our clients heating, ventilation and air conditioning requirements.
The Role
In the role as a graduate, you will be exposed to the industry and supported and mentored by registered engineers and other professionals with years of industry experience.
As you progress as a graduate engineer, you shall be involved in the day-to-day functions of engineering designs, equipment selections and design reviews. Main tasks shall include:
* Review consultant design drawings and specifications and other relevant project documentation to determine the scope of works required for the project.
* Carry out re-design and raise technical queries as required on tender enquiries to determine the plant layouts and system capacities.
* Carry out engineering design and calculations to provide system design for construction documentation.
* Provide final equipment selections, including required capacities and efficiencies for procurement and construction.
* Review mechanical workshop drawings.
* Assist in creating Operating and Maintenance manuals that shall include all maintenance requirements of systems and equipment.
Experience & Skills
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Ability to communicate at all levels, with personnel both within and external to our company.
