An chance has become available for an Audiologist - Advanced (Hearing Implant Program)
to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide professional leadership in the facilitation of research and reliable evidence to support quality clinical practice
- Work cooperatively and engage in effective communications with clinical service providers and stakeholders
- Lead service evaluation, quality assurance and quality improvement change within the Hearing Implant Program
About you
**To be successful in this position you will require**:
- Possession of a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in audiology as recognised by Audiology Australia and Registration with Audiology Australia
- Working with Children Check
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Temporary part time (up to 29 June 2025 with the possibility of extension, 15.2 hours per fortnight)
- Base salary ranging from $73.12 - $76.30 per hour

The Gold Coast Health Hearing Implant Program is a newly established service providing comprehensive surgical and audiological care to adults who may benefit from implantable hearing technologies including cochlear implants and bone conduction implants in the management of their hearing impairment
