Overview
Pandanus 5 Pty Ltd trading as Tour Tub and Wallaroo Tours is seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Tour Guide to join our team in Darwin, NT. This position is an immediate start with 2-4 days work per week through March and increasing to 4-6 days per week from April - October 2026. As a casual Tour Guide, you will be responsible for leading engaging and informative tours of the Darwin region including Litchfield National Park, showcasing the best that the Northern Territory has to offer. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your passion for the region and provide an exceptional experience for visitors to the NT.
What you'll be doing
* Conduct guided tours of the Darwin region, highlighting key landmarks, history, cultural attractions and top end flora and fauna.
* Provide commentary and answer questions to ensure guests have an informative and enjoyable tour experience.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure the well-being of tour participants.
* Maintain a professional and hospitable demeanour at all times.
* Collaborate with the wider Tour Tub/Wallaroo Tours team to continually improve tour offerings.
What we're looking for
* NT Bus Driver's Licence (minimum LR) with H endorsement.
* Current First Aid Certificate.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and captivate audiences.
* Strong knowledge of the Darwin region including Litchfield National Park, its history, culture, key attractions, and NT flora and fauna.
* Previous experience as a tour guide or in a customer-facing role within the tourism industry.
* Passion for the Northern Territory and a desire to share your knowledge and enthusiasm with others.
* Flexible availability to work during peak tour times, including weekends and public holidays.
* A positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
